On 10th March 2019, Believer was severely beaten up by the hindutva extremists and was arrested on the false allegation in Bhairopur Village of Balrampur District, Chattisgarh.

Hindutva extremists put a false complaint against a believer that he broke an idol of one of their deities. A false complaint was registered against him because they were angered on him when he denied their demand of wanting to construct a path through his land to visit the temple since he had already cultivated the land.

As a result the extremists beaten him up very severely and forced him worship their deity. Later the police arrested and sent him to jail under the section of 295 of the Indian Penal Code.
