A group of Hindutva extremists barged into a home in Sandih village in Khunti, Jharkhand armed with guns, around 11:00 p.m. and shot at a young Christian girl. The bullets injured her leg and finger. Then the assailants threatened her and her family to stop converting others in the village to Christianity. They warned her of similar consequences as that of her father, who was shot dead in the year 2015 by extremists.
