On May 12, 2015 at Chhawni, Indore, Hindutva fundamentalists disrupted the 2 day convention being organized at the Presbyterian Church. The meeting was organised in the Masihi Mandir Church from the 11-13 May, 2015. The fundamentalists attacked and beat the Christians while falsely accusing them of conversion. The Police detained the 4 Christians and later were released on bail after being charged under Sec. 3 and 4 of the Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act 1968.
