Christians were harassed by police men at Nilgiri

On 20th August 2017, when the Sunday worship service was going on, two police personnel from Kothagiri Police station along with hindutva activists barged into the church in Kothagiri Taluk, Nilgiri district, Tamil Nadu.

Christians were accused of carrying out religious conversion work and were demanded that they need to get permission for using sound system in the church.

Pastor of the church, tried to explain it to them that people attending the worship service have come there with their own free will. But police wouldn’t listen to them and asked Christians to visit police station as soon as possible.
