Convent School Vandalised and Robbed in New Delhi, India

On February 12, 2015 at Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, a convent school was vandalized and robbed. School officials say the window of the principal’s room was broken by the unknown attackers and Rs.8,000 was reported to be missing.

Education Minister Smriti Irani, who studied in this school, has reportedly requested Home Minister Rajnath Singh to look into the incident. Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s chief minister-designate, has condemned the attack on the Holy Child Auxilium School and tweeted “This kind of acts will not be tolerated.”
