On 22nd April 2019, Hindutva extremists complaint on false allegation of forceful religious conversion and Police arrested Pastor and his brother in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Pastor was conducting a prayer meeting in his own building but his relatives along with hindutva extremists complaint against Pastor that he doing forceful religious conversion and trying to convert them to Christianity. They alos produced Bibles and other Christian literature at the police station as the evidence. Subsequently, when the pastor conducted prayer meeting, the police came and arrested Pastor and his brother and file an FIR under the section of 151 IPC.
