Complicity of Authorities, Intimidation, Threats and Harassment, Restrictions on religious assembly
Fifteen religious extremists entered a church situated at Village Shekhvapur, Lalgunj in Raebareli in U.P., disrupted the Sunday service and clicked pictures of the gathering, which they later published on social media. The extremists also complained to the local police alleging that the Pastor does fraudulent conversions. Two days later, the pastor was summoned at the police station and charged under sections 107, 116 and 151, Cr.P.C. The Pastor was sent to jail on that account.
