Twenty two tribal families ostracised because of their faith in Chattisgarh

Twenty two families who previously belonged to the Satnami Samaj accepted Christianity and have been attending Nai Shristy ka Aarambh Church run by two pastors at Pirda in Janjgir, Champa in Chattisgarh. These families have been socially ostracised by their community because of their faith and have threatened them of severe consequences if they don’t return back to the Satnami Samaj. The community members have threatened to deprive these families of basic amenities. They have also warned that their children will be expelled from their respective schools. And the community heads have imposed a fine of Rs. 80,000/- on any family that interacts with the Christian families.
